32Red Gets an Award

32 Red Casino had great cause for joy and celebrations. The company’s annual results showed solid rise, and the casino together with its management were awarded from Casinomeister, major online gambling information portal.

The casino’s trading for 2008 showed increase of total gaming revenue by 27% year-over-year to £13 million. The casino’s operations grew up by 30%, delivering gross revenue of £11.7 million.

According to the casino management, the main reason for the strong year-over-year rise in total casino revenues is the increase of active players, up 15 %, and an improved yield per player of £536, up 13%.

Management reported that performance for the year that was ended on 31 December, 2008 was expected to correspond with market expectations at PBT level, though ahead of expectations at EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) level.

Ed Ware, CEO at 32Red, said: “Our good performance in the year of 2008 puts 32Red back on its growth path with revenues from our core business, the 32Red online casino, growing strongly”. “We’ll continue competing effectively against our larger peers via our existing platforms and the new products addition to the 32Red portfolio of games including financial spread betting.”

In accordance with the announcement of the results, 32Red was awarded “Best Online Casino” again by the player-influential internet gambling information portal Casinomeister. It is the 6th consecutive year when the casino gets this prize. Pat Harrison, operations director, was recognized as “Best Online Casino Manager” for the 2nd year successively.
